Research Data & AI Partner
Your data stays in your lab – we bring the AI to you.
The problem we see outside AI-heavy labs
Many groups in Materials Science, Chemistry, Biology, Biomedical Research, HCI, and beyond:
Are excellent at experimental design and data collection,
But have limited capacity in:
- Data cleaning and visualization,
- Robust statistics and uncertainty analysis,
- Building and validating ML/DL models,
- Packaging code so that results are reproducible.
Hiring a full-time data scientist or ML engineer is:
- Expensive (especially in high-income countries),
- Hard to justify for a single project or grant,
- And often still requires significant training in domain-specific details.
Our philosophy
We do not ask you to upload sensitive data to us.
We design and implement analysis and ML pipelines that run directly on your own infrastructure – HPC cluster, institutional server, cloud account, or secure workstation.
Your raw data stays under your control
We bring our methods, code, and experience to you
What ANCHI provides
Depending on your needs, we support three layers:
3.1. Data Audit & Exploratory Analysis
- Inspect your data schema, formats, missing values, and potential biases.
- Propose how to clean and standardize the dataset, and which statistical / ML approaches are realistic and meaningful.
- Build EDA notebooks: distributions, outliers, correlations, temporal patterns, PCA/UMAP, etc.
3.2. Statistical Analysis & Baseline Models
Implement:
- • Appropriate statistical tests (t-tests, ANOVA, regression, mixed models, etc.)
- • Baseline ML models (e.g., logistic regression, random forest, gradient boosting)
Perform robust validation:
- • Proper train/validation/test splits
- • Cross-validation where needed
- • Meaningful metrics (AUC, F1, RMSE, MAE, etc.)
Deliver:
- • Figures and tables that can go directly into a paper draft
- • Commented notebooks/scripts to reproduce the results
3.3. Advanced ML/DL & Lightweight Tools
Design and train more advanced models when justified:
- • Deep neural networks for images, signals, or sequences
- • Hybrid models combining handcrafted and learned features
Optimize and evaluate:
- • Hyperparameters
- • Model stability and robustness
- • Generalization across batches, runs, or sites
Optionally wrap the model into a simple internal tool:
A small web UI or command-line interface for your lab to use in daily work.
How we work
Code-to-data, not data-to-code
We typically follow one of these patterns:
Remote-in-Lab
You grant us access (e.g., via SSH/VPN) to your server or cloud environment. We develop and run the code inside your infrastructure; data never leaves it.
Pipeline delivery
You share a schema and a small anonymized or synthetic subset. We design and test the pipeline, then deliver notebooks/scripts. Your team runs them on the full dataset, and we iterate based on logs and summary metrics.
In both cases:
- You remain the data controller and owner.
- We are a technical and methodological partner, not a competing research group.
